Wildlife Scholarship Fund Supports Future Conservationists

students learning about birdfeeders at the Wetlands The Wildlife for Everyone Foundation offers a Wildlife Scholarship Fund that awards students with financial support to advance their career interest in wildlife conservation. The purpose of the scholarship fund is to inspire the next generation of conservationists by presenting opportunities for students to deepen their connection with nature and wildlife. Awards may be used to offset expenses related to education or for participation in related conferences, workshops and field experiences.

Students enrolled in a 2-year, 4-year or graduate program in an accredited college or university with an interest or academic major in wildlife resources, or who actively participate in natural resource and conservation activities are eligible. Scholarships will be awarded to four exceptional students this year.

Wildlife for Everyone Foundation Scholarship Application

Purpose – The purpose of the scholarship fund is to inspire the next generation of conservationists by presenting opportunities for students to deepen their connection with nature and wildlife.

Award – 4-$500 scholarships will be awarded annually. Awards may be used to support expenses related to education or for participation in natural resource-related conferences, workshops, field experiences, books, etc. Recipients will be asked to participate in at least one (1) Wildlife for Everyone Foundation event during the calendar year of the award and to write a short summary of how the funds were used.

Requirements – Students enrolled in an accredited college or university in a 2-year, 4-year or graduate program who actively participate in natural resource and conservation activities such as hunting, fishing, birding, habitat restoration, research and monitoring are eligible. Selection will be based on multiple factors including participation and outreach in natural resource-related activities, academic success, and career goals. Preference will be given to applicants who are student members of the Wildlife for Everyone Foundation.

  2. School Information - school, major, year, GPA
  3. Membership in natural resource related clubs and other organizations
  4. Include a one (1) page statement describing your outdoor and wildlife related activities and pursuits, your career goals, and any outreach activities and mentoring you are currently involved in related to Natural Resource Management.
  5. Provide one (1) reference that we may contact
