Feasibility Study

The Wildlife for Everyone Endowment Foundation invites you to participate by completing the enclosed Feasibility Study questionnaire to determine if an $18,000,000 Capital Campaign to fund a Wildlife Education and Research Center and its Endowment is realistic and attainable. The Center will be located on State Game Lands 176, also known as Scotia and The Barrens near State College, Pennsylvania. Construction and project suggestions are estimated at $16,000,000. The goal for the Endowment Fund is $2,000,000.

The purpose of the Campaign will be to raise funds to build an Education and Research Center to teach children and adults about Pennsylvania's diverse wildlife species and to house the Pennsylvania Game Commission's wildlife research staff. The state of the art Education Center features a theatre, gift shop, classrooms and interactive laboratories and exhibits, while the Research Center will feature offices, library and laboratory space. Sports competition ranges will be incorporated into the building's lower level. The Wildlife Education and Research Center will stimulate continuous learning about the uniqueness of Pennsylvania's birds and mammals. It will ensure that Pennsylvania is in the vanguard of wildlife conservation for many generations. An Endowment Fund will be enhanced to ensure the perpetuity of the Foundation.
